Director Neeraj Pandey today said a sequel to his 2015 hit film "Baby" is being planned and his other movie "Crack" will go on floors next year.
The spin-off of "Baby", titled "Naam Shabana" and featuring Taapsee Pannu in the lead, released this year.
Talking about taking ahead the "Baby" franchise, Neeraj said in an interview, "We have plans for the 'Baby' franchise. We will hopefully come out with 'Baby 2' in 2019. It will be a sequel."

There were reports that "Crack" will go on floors in November this year but Neeraj denied it saying the makers are yet to chalk out a proper schedule.
"We are still working on the schedule. We are not going on floors in November. We are wrapping work on 'Aiyaary' by September-October. So, technically it will not be possible for us to jump onto another film. We are working on the script. I hope it will happen next year," Neeraj said.
In November 2016, Akshay Kumar had announced on Twitter about teaming up with Neeraj for "Crack", which was slated to release on Independence Day this year.
He had also shared the first look of the film which showed a broken pair of spectacles.
But "Crack" got delayed and rumours of the film being shelved started doing the rounds.
"Sometimes the schedule does not work out or sometimes there is another reason for the film to not go on floors. It just happened that the slot.. When it was going to go on the floors, did not happen and then I began work on 'Aiyaary'. Now we are working on matching our schedule," Neeraj said.
The director, who made his directorial debut with "A Wednesday" in 2008, will complete nine years in the film industry, tomorrow.
