Realty body Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Association would hold a two-day home loan expo from tomorrow in the city.
The event would be precursor to the annual property event FAIRPRO 2017, scheduled to be held in February 10 to 12 in Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam.
"We have seen a fall in interest rates in the past couple of months and there is a positive sentiment witnessed by the real estate sector," CREDAI Chennai President Suresh Krishn said.
The expo will be a great platfom for developers and home loan providers to come together and provide an opportunity to customers demand, he said.
The Home Loan mela would be held tomorrow (January 28) and on Sunday at various places in city.
"We have enjoyed immense success in earlier editions of the home loan and expect a positive response for this year's edition too..", State Bank of India, Chief General Manager B Ramesh Babu said.
State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank Housing Finance, LIC Housing Finance Ltd., HDFC Home Loans were some banks that would take part in the expo, the release added.
