Six crew members of fishing vessel 'Shri Raj', which had caught fire yesterday, were rescued this morning, an official release said.
"Six crew members of fishing vessel 'Shri Raj' were rescued and brought to Okha in Jamnagar by Coast Guard ship 'Meera Behn' today morning," the release said.
"The vessel had caught fire following an electric spark in the engine room yesterday evening, 86 nautical miles from Okha," it said adding that Coast Guard was called by the fishermen.
While the crew members were rescued, the boat sunk. No members received any injury, the release added.
