Crime Branch arrests 3 for running railway job racket

The Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) arrested three people here today for allegedly duping around 15 youths promising them clerical jobs in the Indian Railways.

"The Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) arrested three youths from the city in connection with a racket of providing job of clerks in the Indian Railway here today," Police Inspector Pradipsinh Jadeja of the DCB said.

The three arrested youths have been identified as Hitesh Joshi, Vipul Joshi and Jayesh Patel from whom the police seized documents related to the offences along with cash worth Rs 5 lakh from them.

It is believed that the job racket also involves some persons from the neighbouring town of Anand and other parts of Central Gujarat, Jadeja said.
 

The case is being investigated, Jadeja said.
