Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria today expressed confidence that absconding notorious criminal Anandpal Singh would be apprehended very soon as several of his aides have been arrested in recent days.
The criminal, who escaped last year from police custody while being taken back to Ajmer jail from a court in Nagaur district, is being hunted by the state police.
"Anandpal would be caught soon," Kataria told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.
He said Anandpal's two aides, who were arrested on April 23, are being interrogated to gather details about him.
The police have also arrested a few accomplices of the criminal in the past and gathered information from them.
