A sharp shooter, allegedly having links with gang of jailed mafia don Babloo Srivastava, was today arrested by Gujarat police, an official said.
Arun Kumar Singh alias Sunil alias Mukesh, a resident of Gorakhpur, was arrested by Gujarat police with the help of their Lucknow counterparts near polytechnic area, he said.
There was a case registered against Arun in Surat for making an attempt on life of one Afroz, he said.
During initial interrogation, Arun revealed that he had got a contract to kill Afroz and has links with Babloo gang, the official said, adding that Arun was being taken to Surat for further interrogation.
