Crompton Greaves today reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 198.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The company had posted a profit of Rs 63.82 crore in the fourth quarter of 2013-14.
"The group has posted a net (loss) after taxes, minority interest and share of profit/(loss) of associates of Rs (1985.50) million for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to net profit of Rs 638.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2014," the company said in a BSE filing.
According to the statement, the total income has decreased from Rs 3,890.08 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 to Rs 3,826.96 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The Group has posted a consolidated net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit/(loss) of associates at Rs 209.35 crore for 2014-15 as compared to Rs 244.33 crore for 2013-14.
The total consolidated income has increased from Rs 13,780.58 crore in 2013-14 to Rs 14,140.53 in 2014-15.
The company's shares closed 1.37 per cent down at Rs 165.85 apiece on the BSE.
