Crompton Greaves' consolidated net loss narrowed to Rs 9.51 crore in the quarter ended June 30, on the back of higher sales of power and industrial systems.
"The Group has posted a net loss after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates of Rs 9.51 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to net loss of Rs 62.20 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015," Crompton Greaves said in a BSE filing today.
According to the statement, total income increased to Rs 1,441.34 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 from Rs 1,070.01 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's consolidated net loss was Rs 452.54 crore in the last financial year.
It stated that revenue from power systems was Rs 702.53 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal compared to Rs 376.17 crore a year ago.
Similarly, revenues from industrial systems also increased to Rs 508.61 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 456.75 crore in the year-ago period.
