Cooperative Minister Udai Lal Anjana on Thursday said Rs 600 crore will be deposited by September 30 in the savings accounts of farmers who had registered to get Kharif crop loan.
There is no shortage of funds for disbursing crop loans to farmers and the Rajasthan government has decided to release Rs 600 crore, Anjana said in a statement.
Refinance from NABARD has also started, the minister said.
He said that under cooperative online registration and distribution scheme, about 20 lakh farmers of the state have registered for availing Kharif crop loans, out of which about 15 lakh farmers have been issued loans and 5 lakh farmers will receive the fund in their accounts by September 30.
He said eligible farmers are getting crop loans through transparent process adopted for the first time.
Anjana added that farmers are priority of the state government and they will not be allowed to face any problem.
