CRPF today conducted a 'heritage walk' for school children and youngsters to make them aware of the historical monuments in Delhi.
The children were conducted to a guided tour of popular monuments in the national capital like Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Safdarjung Tomb and Purana Quila.
Children from some selected schools and those from the families of the paramilitary force were taken to these monuments where they also met Archaeological Survey of India officials.

The tour, a senior official said, was conducted by the 46th battalion of CRPF based here. The force plans to undertake more such excursions for youngsters.
The Central Reserve Police Force is the country's largest paramilitary force with close to 3 lakh personnel.
