East Champaran district-based CRPF's 153rd battalion provided training to the youths in partnership with a local non governmental organisation (NGO).
In a bid to boost their chance for employment, CRPF selected 30 youths from East Champaran, Muzaffarpur and Sitamarhi districts and trained them in arms and other defence safety.
Addressing the passing out of the group of youths, Deputy Inspector General of Police of CRPF, Neeraj Kumar said it was an attempt to bring the youths to the mainstream.
Deputy Commandant Vikram Singh said the youths got jobs through a placement agency. A new batch of youths would soon be given same training in near future, he added.
