A crucial triennial meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will begin here tomorrow and will chalk out its agenda and course of action for the next three years.

The Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha will also elect the next Sarkaryawah (General Secretary), the executive head of the organisation who looks after its day-to-day activities, on March 10.

According to reports, there might be a change in the leadership in the RSS, the ideological parent of the ruling BJP.

Bhaiyyaji Joshi is currently the Sarkaryawah, effectively the number two after Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat.

Addressing a press conference ahead of the three-day meet, RSS leader Manmohan Vaidya said that elected representatives will take part in the election of 'Sarkaryawah'.

Vaidya, the publicity in-charge of the organisation, said around 1,500 delegates are expected to attend the meeting.

"The main focus of the meeting will be on charting out the course of action and efforts to be made for the next three years," he said.

BJP president Amit Shah, general secretary Ram Madhav and other senior party leaders are expected to attend the meeting on March 9.

Replying to a query on statues of leaders being vandalised in various parts of the country, Vaidya said, "All these incidents are very unfortunate.
