Crude oil futures prices today fell by 0.18 per cent to Rs 6,072 per barrel amid a mixed trend in Asian trade weighed down by concerns over weak manufacturing data from the US and China.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in February fell by Rs 11 or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 6,072 per barrel in 748 lots.

The oil for March delivery moved down by Rs 9, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 6,065 per barrel in a turnover of 62 lots.

Marketmen analysts said a mixed trend in Asian trade amid concerns over weak manufacturing data from the US and China, the world's top two economies, mainly put pressure on crude futures here.

Meanwhile, crude oil for March delivery gained 21 cents to USD 96.64 a barrel in mid-morning trade on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent North Sea crude eased six cents to USD 105.98.
