Crude palm oil down by 0.3% on low demand

Traders trimmed positions amid sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stock position

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil prices eased 0.27% to Rs 448 per 10 kg in futures trade today as traders trimmed positions amid sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stock position.

At Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in July declined Rs 1.20, or 0.27%, to Rs 448 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 11 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in June contracts traded lower by 60 paise, or 0.13%, to Rs 452.90 per 10 kg in three lots.

Market analysts attributed the fall to subdued demand in the spot market against sufficient supplies.
