Crude palm oil down 0.3% on low demand

Oil for delivery in October traded lower by 0.13%

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil remained weak for the second day and prices shed another 0.34% to Rs 445.70 per 10 kg in futures trade today.

Further, increased arrivals from producing regions in the physical market fuelled the downtrend.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in November fell further by Rs 1.50, or 0.34% to Rs 445.70 per 10 kg in business turnover of 39 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in October traded lower by 60 paise, or 0.13% to Rs 444.70 per 10 kg in 28 lots.

Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators triggered by low demand in the spot markets mainly influenced crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
