Crude palm oil prices fell by another 0.94 per cent to Rs 627.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits amid fall in demand at the spot market.
Negative overseas cues also put pressure on prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in the current month eased by Rs 6, or 0.94 per cent, to Rs 627.50 per 10 kg, in a business turnover of 208 lots.
The oil for delivery in July contract traded lower by Rs 4.80, or 0.76 per cent, to Rs 675.70 per 10 kg in 109 lots.
Analysts said profit-booking by speculators at prevailing levels and a fall in demand at spot market weighed on crude palm oil prices.
