Crude palm oil prices drifted 1.32 per cent to Rs 423.60 per 10 kg today after speculators booked profits at existing levels amid subdued spot demand.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in November declined Rs 5.70, or 1.32 per cent, to Rs 423.60 per 10 kg, in a business turnover of 1,161 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in October fell Rs 5.30, or 1.24 per cent, to Rs 422.10 per 10 kg in 767 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at current levels, subdued demand in the spot market and a weak trend overseas kept pressure on crude palm oil futures.
