Oil for delivery in April traded lower by 0.3%

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil prices fell 0.42% to Rs 558.30 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators offloaded their positions due to subdued demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in May fell by Rs 2.40, or 0.42%, to Rs 558.30 per 10 kg in business turnover of 11 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in April traded lower by Rs 1.90, or 0.33%, to Rs 566.60 per 10 kg in 31 lots.

Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators due to subdued demand in the spot market against adequate supplies, mainly led to a fall in crude palm oil futures prices.
