Crude palm oil prices higher by 0.68% to Rs 438.60 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators indulged in creating fresh positions supported by pick up in demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in April rose by Rs 3 or 0.68% to Rs 438.60 per 10 kg in business turnover of 177 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in May up by Rs 2.40 or 0.54% to Rs 440.30 per 10 kg in 280 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade to speculators creating fresh positions driven by pick up in demand in the spot market.
