The index opened at 6017.42 and during the day it slipped to close at 5997.26. Total trading volume was at Rs 14.75 crore from 19 scrips.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307.60 at close. Infosys Technologies was at Rs 2421.30 at the end of the session.
Reliance Industries was firm at Rs 769 while, State Bank of India ended at Rs 1852.95 at end of the session.
Tata Steel was at Rs 352 at close and Twenty First Century was at Rs 325.70 at close.
