The benchmark index (CSE-40) was down 36.06 points during the opening session of the week. The local bourse opened at 6107.33 and during the day it slipped to close at 6071.27.
Among major scrips, Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307.50. Konarak Commerce Industries was Rs 98.20.
State Bank of India was up at Rs 2114.95 and Reliance Industries eased to close at Rs 715.
While, Tata Steel was Rs 416. Twenty-First Century was at Rs 325.20.
