The CSE-40 gained 224.14 points during the week. The local bourse was down in the previous week.
The index opened at 6912.98 points and during the week it gained to touch intra-week high of 7197.18 before settling at 7137.12.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 309.50. ICICI Bank was at Rs 1179 at close. IT major Infosys Technologies was Rs 2343.30 end of the week.
State Bank of India gained to Rs 2477.50 and Tata Steel slipped to Rs 432.
Vindus Holding was at Rs 307 at end of the week.
