CSE index gains 61 points

The benchmark index (CSE-40) was up 61.90 points during the trading session. The local bourse was down 76 points in the previous trading session.

The index opened at 5714.89 points and during the day it gained to close at 5776.79 points at close.

Total trading volume was Rs 24.97 crore from 22 scrips.

Among major scrips, Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307.20. Damodar Ropeway was Rs 12.10 at close. Infosys Technologies was Rs 2389 at close.

State Bank of India was down to Rs 2085 and Reliance Industries ended at Rs 700.10. Tata Steel lost ground to close at Rs 402.80.

 

Twenty-First Century was at Rs 402.80. Vindus Holding was at Rs 307 at close.
