The CSE index lost 58.69 points during the week. The local bourse was lower by 197.61 points in the previous week.
The index opened at 5756.58 and during the week it touched intra-week low of 5667.06 before closing at 5697.89.
Blueprint was at Rs 307 and Infosys Technologies was moderately higher during the the week to close at Rs 2368.60. Larsen & Toubro closed at Rs 1133.85.
Reliance Industries closed lower at Rs 687.95 and State Bank of India eased to close at Rs 1917 at the end of the week. Tata Steel was lower at Rs 393 at close.
Tata Motors was at Rs 258.10 at close of the week.
