The home matches of Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing IPL could be shifted out of the Chepauk stadium as the Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporation is yet to give 'NOC' to three stands which they claim were illegally constructed.

CSK had a home match against RCB scheduled on May 18, followed by another match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 22. Apart from that Chepauk would have hosted a Qualifier on May 27 and an Eliminator on May 28.

"We have received an official communication from the franchise and a meeting will be held in Mumbai tomorrow to sort out the venue due to Chepauk's inability to host the matches," a top IPL official told PTI today.

It is learnt that at least two of the four matches could be shifted to Ranchi while Eden Gardens could be compensated for losing out on the KKR versus Mumbai Indians match by getting one of the Eliminator or Qualifier.

Today there was a hearing in the Supreme Court in a case where BCCI and Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporation were two parties. The judge told both the parties to reach an amicable settlement regarding the construction of the three stands and a gymnasium.
