Technology start-up Cube26 today announced a partnership with IIIT-Hyderabad to initiate research on cognitive intelligence.

The year-long project would select 2-3 postgraduate and 5-6 undergraduate students of IIIT-Hyderabad, who would further strengthen the data science capabilities of Cube26, the start-up said in a statement.

The research work would also be considered as theses for the IIIT-Hyderabad students, it said.

Cube26 CEO and Co-Founder Saurav Kumar said the tie-up is in line with the start-up's plans to bolster customer experience powered by cognitive intelligence.

"There is significant amount of user feedback that could be collected to correct and improve algorithms. We envision such designs and developments in the course of our collaboration," he said.

Vasudeva Varma, Professor and Dean (Research), IIIT Hyderabad said cognitive intelligence is an untapped sector in India and this research would be beneficial to both Cube26 and the selected students.
