Engines manufacturer Cummins India today reported a 13.8 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 164.15 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2016.
The company had posted standalone net profit of Rs 190.44 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, Cummins India said in a BSE filing.
Standalone net sales during the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,038.11 crore as against Rs 1,114.32 crore in the year-ago period, down 6.84 per cent, it added.

For the fiscal 2015-16, the company said its consolidated net profit was at Rs 733.31 crore as against Rs 772.02 crore in the previous fiscal, down 5 per cent.
Net sales for the year were at Rs 5,130.77 crore as compared with Rs 4,830.81 crore in the previous year, up 6.2 per cent, it added.
Shares of Cummins India ended the day 1.07 per cent lower at Rs 861.30 apiece on BSE.
