Engine maker Cummins India today posted 34.31 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 190.44 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 141.79 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal.
Net sales rose to Rs 1,114.32 crore for the fourth quarter, as against Rs 956.01 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, Cummins India said in a filing to the BSE.

For the year ended March 31, the company posted a net profit of Rs 785.85 crore, compared to Rs 600.02 crore in the previous year.
Net sales rose to Rs 4,321.10 crore for the year ended March 31, compared to Rs 3,899.11 crore during the previous year.
The company's board, which met today, recommended a final dividend of Rs 9 per share on equity shares of Rs 2 each.
Cummins shares today ended at Rs 850.30 apiece on the BSE, up 0.23 per cent from previous close.
