The judicial custody of five Maoists, lodged in the Central Jail here, was extended till November 2 by a court.
Maoists couple Roopesh and Shyna and Anoop Kannan and Easwaran were arrested on May 4 last from Karumathampatti and lodged in the jail here.
Amid tight security, all the five were brought and produced before Principal District Judge Pongiappan, who extended their custody till November 2.
