The custody of five Maoists lodged in the Central jail was extended till January 25.
The five Maoists couple Roopesh and Shyna and Anoop Kannan and Easwaran were arrested on May 4 last from Karumathampatti and lodged in the jail here.
They were produced before the the Principal District Judge Pongiappan, after expiry of their custody today.
The Judge extended the judicial custody of the Maoists, who have been detained under NSA.
