A Superintendent of Customs was today detained from Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport here after two gold biscuits weighing 400 gms were recovered from his car, an official said.
Customs Superintendent Vajinder Singh, posted in the International Airport here, was detained after his senior officers intercepted and frisked his car in the airport's parking when he was leaving for home, the official said.
He was detained for questioning after the gold biscuits were found.
It is being assumed that some international passenger might have given him the biscuits to seek illegitimate favour, the official added.
