BJP MP and former chief minister of Himachal Shanta Kumar today recommended that salary of MPs, who disrupt the working of Parliament, should be deducted.

"It is becoming a regular practice to make continuous disturbance in the Lok Sabha, making it a laughing stock for the viewers. It is really unfortunate," he said in a letter to Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.

He said few members were taking undue benefit of the decency of the speaker of the House and requested Mahajan to toughen her stance on the unruly MPs.
