Cyberabad CP reviews current security policies with IT firms

Cyberabad police today reviewed the security of MNCs and large IT firms in the Cyberabad Commissionerate zone here.

Commissioner V C Sajjanar asked heads of MNCs and large IT firms to review current security policies and procedures put in place and their CCTV network system.

At the meeting,Sajjanar highlighted his vision to further enhance security in Cyberabad through implementing proactive and technology enabled systems to align with the state government's vision to make Hyderabad a top destination for IT sector by 2020, an official release said.

The Cyberabad police chief reiterated that the government has been committed to this cause by way of investing into many security related programmes and sought the support of IT industry to make this a collaborative effort.

 

One of the major areas discussed and agreed upon was on the support needed for community CCTV programme and the CEOs/Centre heads of MNCs and IT firms, who participated in the meet, principally agreed to support the programme, the release added.
