Cyclone Helen over west central Bay of Bengal might affect the second one-day international cricket (ODI) match between India and the West Indies, scheduled to be played here at ACA-VDCA stadium here on November 24.

Cyclone Helen is set to cross the south Andhra coast tomorrow evening.

According to the Cyclone Warning Centre, widespread heavy rainfall is predicted in south as well as north coastal districts and Visakhpatnam district has been experiencing heavy rains since last night.

Cricket fans hope it will not rain too heavily during the next two or three days and the match will go on unhindered.

Though the the Y S Rajasekhara Reddy Stadium has super soppers and other drainage facilities, it may prove to be inadequate if it rains too heavily.

Both the teams will arrive here tomorrow and go for practice sessions on November 23.
