Faux human body parts hung from the ceiling and skeletons popped up from behind doors at the Gothic party of 'Ek Thi Daayan', which producer Ekta Kapoor said will not scare people but will intimidate them.

"Look around you. It is weird, it is spooky but does not scare you. Witches' dens are not spooky always as they are made out to be... Like witches are not always found to be scary. There are other world thrills at a witch's den," Kapoor told PTI on the sidelines of the party.

"'Ek Thi Daayan' is a story you will enjoy. It is not derived from any real life incident. So don't be so serious while watching it," she said.

A ramp show was put up on the occasion by fashion designer Jaya Mishra.

Ekta walked the ramp along with Huma Qureshi and Konkona Sen Sharma, the two leading ladies of the film, wearing black robes.

'Ek Thi Daayan', which also features Emraan Hashmi and Kalki Koechlin, will release on April 18.

Ekta said, "We are showing two facets of a daayan in our film. One side is a pretty human face like any other bubbly beautiful girl, but the other one is straight from the world of skeletons, skulls and spooky tales. But I bet you will not be scared by seeing them.
