Radical Sikh outfit Dal Khalsa today welcomed the Supreme Court decision to commute the death sentences of convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, and hoped that the same would be done for Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar, the 1993 Delhi blast convict.
The outfit's spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh said the justice has been done finally to Perarivalan, Santhan and Murugan, the three convicts who were on death row for the assassination of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.
He said that the Centre and state should release them as they had been under detention since 1991.
