allegedly raped by two youths in a village in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh district, police said today.
The 16-year-old girl, a student of class eight, was grazing cattle in the forest when she was allegedly raped by two youths in Kwitar village on Friday.
The girl informed her parents about the incident who lodged an FIR with police in this connection.
The medical examination of the girl confirmed she was criminally assaulted, police said.
The alleged rapists, who belonged to Kwitar village, were absconding and would be nabbed soon, they said.
