An 18-year-old dalit girl has been raped by a youth in a village under Dokati police station area in the district, police said here today.
Mantu raped the girl when she was alone in her house yesterday, the police station in charge Sharad Chand Tripathi said, adding the accused has been arrested.
When the family members of the victim went to the Mantu' house to complain about the incident they were also issued death threats, Tripathi said.
Accused's two brothers have been arrested for threatening the victim.
