A 19-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by a neighbour in Ballabgarh here, police said today.
The victim, a resident of Ding village, complained that Neeraj raped her on April 26, and also made comment on her caste, ASI Santosh said.
A case has been registered against the accused under section 376 of the IPC and section 3, 33 and 89 of SC&ST Act.
According to the complaint, the accused offered to drop the victim on his bike and she accepted as he was known to her but instead he took her to a secluded field and raped her.
