Maharashtra Minister of State for Social Justice Dilip Kamble has assured to look into the demands of Ambedkar Dalit Mitra Award winners, including honorarium to them.
A delegation of the State Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Dalit Mitra Sangh met Kamble at Mantralaya on March 17 and handed over a memorandum.
Their demands include free travel in MSRTC buses, concession in rail fare, entry in Mantralaya on presentation of ID-cards, appointments in various committees as non-official members, Sangh's general secretary Yogesh Wagde said in a release issued here.
Kamble assured that a decision will be taken soon with regard to their demands after holding discussions with concerned ministers, it added.
