Dalmia Cement Bharat, the cement arm of Dalmia Bharat Group, has set up a research and development centre at Padi in Chennai.
"The centre has been launched to support the manufacturing, marketing and innovation initiatives of the company and deliver ground-breaking solutions which will create industry benchmarks," a company statement said.
"We believe in constantly innovating, developing quality products and improving service to achieve customer satisfaction, all with new benchamrks in quality, usability and sustainability," Dalmia Cement Bharat, Group CEO, Mahendra Singhi said.
"Research and Developments, naturally, the backbone of our undertakings, is crucial for our long-term success. With this launch, we aim to add to our IPR and set new benchmarks," he said.
