A Jharkhand government official was today transferred after a photo was published in local papers purportedly showing him dancing with a girl.
An official release said Giridih Deputy Development Commissioner Dinesh Prasad has been transferred to the department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Raj Bhasha.
The action comes in the wake of the photo being published in newspapers.
Prasad claimed that he was acting in a film based on Chilkhari massacre by Maoists some years ago.
His claim has been corroborated by film maker Brajmohan Turi.
However, Giridih Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Verma said Prasad has not taken permission to act in any film.
