Daniel Radcliffe to play FBI agent in 'Imperium'

"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe is gearing up to play a FBI undercover agent in the upcoming crime and terrorism film "Imperium".

Based on the real life experiences of FBI undercover agent Michael German, the movie revolves around a FBI agent who is recruited for a secret mission, reported Deadline.

Short filmmaker Daniel Ragussis, will be making his feature directorial debut with the film.

Produced by Ty Walker, Dennis Lee and Simon Taufique, the shooting is scheduled to commence around September.

Radcliffe, 26, is currently filming the indie comedy "Swiss Army Man". He will next be seen Fox's "Frankenstein" with James McAvoy.
