Australian singer-songwriter Dannii Minogue has revealed that fame at an early stage of her career was "awful" admitting that the fear often got into her head.

The 41-year-old former "The X Factor" judge entered the showbiz in 1980s and she says it was difficult adjusting to the flashlights and people around you all the time, reported Femalefirst.

"The microphones on stage, the camera pointing at you, the lights. It's not the easiest thing in the world to walk into a room full of strangers and act natural. You can say it's almost like stepping into a superhero suit. The Lady Gaga you see - I don't think that's the real person at all. She's amazing," she added.

The pop star is set to judge "Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model" and she finds it hard to act natural on camera and believes most celebrities have a different persona in public view.
