Dara case: Court to give verdict on MLA's petition on May 16

Hearing the final arguments on the application moved by Rathore, the District and Sessions court reserved judgement of the case till Wednesday.

Earlier, Rathore's counsel Ajay Kumar Jain argued that the legislator's continued detention by the CBI was illegal as the agency had no proof of his involvement in the case.

Rathore, a former minister, was arrested by the CBI last month in connection with the Dara Singh fake encounter case of 2006.
