"Black Swan" filmmaker Darren Aronofsky is in talks to helm the biopic of Even Knievel, who was known for his daredevil motorcyle stunts.

The untitled project has been in development since 2014 with a possibility of "Magic Mike XXL" actor Channing Tatum starring in it, reported Variety.

Tatum, 35, will also be producing the film alongside Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti.

Even Knievel, described as one of the greatest American icons, attempted more than 75 ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jumps. One of his most notable stunts was a failed 1974 jump across Snake River Canyon.

During his career he suffered more than 433 bone fractures.

He died of pulmonary disease in 2007.
