Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Thursday visited Nemra village in Ramgarh district to pay tribute to Lalu Soren, the younger brother of JMM supremo Shibu Soren, who passed away recently.
Das also met former chief minister Shibu Soren and his son and Leader of Opposition in state assembly Hemant Soren.
Hemant Soren is a former chief minister of Jharkhand.
Das paid tributes to Lalu Soren, who died of prolonged illness. He spent nearly half-an-hour with the Soren family.
Speaking to reporters, Das said one should set aside political differences during time of grief.
Shibu Soren's native Nemra village is located nearly 55 km away from district headquarters Ramgarh.
