Dattatreya's 'Alai Balai' event on October 1

Former Union minister and BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya would organise 'Alai Balai', an apolitical event he has been hosting here on the occasion of Dasara festival for the last 12 years, on October 1.

The event, aimed at promoting cordial relations among leaders cutting across party lines, would be held at the Exhibition Grounds here, he told reporters today.

Dattatreya invites political leaders from all parties and other prominent personalities on the occasion.

Common Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ESL Narasimhan, Union Labour Minister Santosh Gangwar, Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir, BJP General Secretary Ramlal and other leaders would attend the event, he said.
 

He said he has also invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for the event.

Dattatreya said he would unveil a logo for 'Alai Balai', adding that he wanted to promote the event across Telangana.
