Dattatreya's mobile phone 'stolen' from his house in Hyderabad

A cell phone of Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya was reportedly stolen today from his house at Ramnagar here, police said.

According to a complaint lodged by the Union MoS for Labour and Employment's additional PA, the cell phone was kept on charging in the visitor's room of his house at 8 AM. A large number of people were in the room to meet him and someone stole the mobile phone, police said.

It was the personal mobile phone of Dattatreya, one of his aide said.

"Following the complaint, we have registered a case under section 380 (theft in dwelling house) of IPC and investigation is underway," Musheerabad Police Station Inspector B Mohan Kumar said.
