Regaling over India bagging bronze medal in Rio Olympics in women wrestling, the DAV is mulling to introduce wrestling for girls and gymnastics in its sporting events.
"We will seek approval of our DAV management for introducing wrestling for girls and gymnastics in our sporting calender," Assistant Regional Director Indrajit Rai told reporters.
Besides, the two disciplines, Judo would also be included, he said while addressing reporters to brief them about DAV National Sports (Cluster level meet), Patna zone, on October 22 at DAV BSEB school.

Accompanied by Principal of DAV BSEB V S Ojha, Rai said that though the entire country celebrated the bronze medal winning performance of Sakshi Malik in Olympics, for DAVians there was additional treat as she is a product of DAV Haryana.
The sporting meet of 15 DAV schools of Patna zone started in September and it would culminate on coming Saturday at DAV BSEB.
